What a great way to spend a summer’s evening – we must have had at least 45 different people come and play over the 6 weeks of Summer Touch Rugby, which just shows that this is definitely worth doing as a community event as we had several new people come along and join in the weekly fun!
After the last session we had a great BBQ with lovely burgers and sausages cooked by the resident chef Geoff Curtis.
Well done to all that came and played over the weeks but a particular well done to Brigadier Sambuca aka Paul Kemp for winning the points competition and taking home a pair of tickets to one of the Autumn Internationals.
A massive thank you to Aurie Woodley for organising the weekly sessions and thanks to Nikki Shouesmith for time keeping and monitoring the match scores.
Keep an eye out for the start of the next season of Summer touch Rugby in May 2018!
